MYLO is an exciting new website
designed to get young people practicing and developing their
language skills in a fun, creative and imaginative way.
It’s packed full of innovative learning activities in French,
Spanish, German and Mandarin. MYLO aims to help young people
discover the value of languages by using compelling new techniques
to make languages more ‘real’.
MYLO contains a series of online
challenges which show how languages can be used in all kinds of
creative situations. For example, you can use your French to help
design a football kit or help an eccentric Canadian chef to
describe his fantastic new menu!
MYLO is great for teachers because
you can use the challenges as classroom or homework activities for
your pupils. It’s also great for learners because you can practice
the language the language you’ve learnt at school – and have fun
while you learn!
With practice materials, online dictionaries, phrase books,
background information and plenty of hints and tips, MYLO contains everything you need to
complete tasks online.
